how often do you open your books?

I open my bookings once a month in preparation for the following month. Keep an eye out on my Instagram (@laurnpokes), as I post booking updates there.

Securing a flash design is a breeze! When my books open, simply visit my online store (when my books are open). Browse through the array of available flash designs, pick your favourites, and add them to your cart. Confirm your reservation by paying a $50 deposit, ensuring that your selected design is instantly reserved for you.

For those interested in multiple designs, the initial deposit functions as the booking fee, and all subsequent deposits will be deducted from the finial cost of the tattoos on the day.

Once payment is complete, I'll reach out to you via email (please check both your inbox and junk folders for a response). In this correspondence, I'll provide you with available dates and times to choose from. We'll also discuss details such as size, placement, and any minor adjustments you may desire.

If you're looking to book matching flash designs for yourself and your friend/s, simply purchase the desired design (you only need to make one deposit). When I reach out to you via email, inform me that you're planning a group booking, and I will make the necessary arrangements from there.

Should a flash design you want is already taken, feel free to complete a custom booking form. I'm more than happy to create a custom variation of the flash design.

To book a custom design, you will have to fill out a booking form. This form requires essential information, including your name, email, and phone number for communication purposes. Additionally, provide a preliminary description of your desired design, its approximate size, and preferred placement.

Within the booking form, you'll find a selection of available dates. Choose the dates that suit your schedule best. Once you've submitted the form, I'll reach out to you via email. This is the point where you can share reference photos and we can delve into a more detailed discussions about your design.

After reviewing your information, I'll provide rough quotes, available dates, studio details, and more. If you're satisfied and ready to proceed, a non-refundable $80 deposit fee will be required (note: this fee is separate from the final tattoo cost). Upon receipt of the deposit, I'll confirm your booking in my calendar, and you'll receive a confirmation text and email.

From this point onward, simply relax and wait to receive your design sheet before your upcoming appointment!

can i schedule an appointment with my friend/s?

Absolutely! For custom designs, appoint one person to complete the booking form on behalf of the entire group. I'll reach out to that person via email to coordinate a suitable day for everyone.

If you're interested in a flash design, kindly purchase the deposit for the specific design you and your friend/s are interested in. When I contact you via email, just let me know that you're looking for a group booking, and I'll make arrangements for you and your friend/s.

Custom Deposits are $80, serving as both a drawing fee (you'll receive a design sheet with 4+ drawings and unlimited reasonable changes) and an administrative fee. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable and does not contribute towards the final tattoo cost. Some simple custom designs (e.g. text, plain love heart, numbers…) will have a $50 booking fee

Flash Deposits are $50 and are not taken off the final tattoo cost. For those interested in purchasing multiple designs, the initial deposit will serve as the booking fee, and each subsequent deposit will be deducted from the final total.


Booking deposits/fees cover illustration, design, and administrative expenses. The remainder is allocated to the tattooing process, encompassing equipment costs, studio rent, and the artist's time.

If your custom design booking is confirmed, I will send you a design sheet with 4+ drawings. You can choose, customise, or mix and match from these options. Typically, design sheets are sent out 2-3 days before your scheduled appointment.

what is the difference between flash and custom?

Flash designs are pre-drawn designs that I've created. All of my flash designs are one off, unless you're interested in matching tattoos with a friend or unless specified otherwise.

Custom designs, on the other hand, are based on your ideas. I'll ask you to send me reference photos, and I will create 4+ designs in my unique style for you to choose from for your tattoo.

why have I not heard back from you?

Due to the overwhelming number of booking requests, I cannot respond to every one. Priority is given to flash designs, any remaining available appointments will then be allocated to select custom requests.

Please be patient and also keep an eye on your junk folder as responses can sometimes end up there.

cancellations and reschedules

If you need to reschedule, please inform me as soon as possible. Life happens, and we understand that. Contact us early, and we can work together to find another suitable time. For the first reschedule, your deposit can be transferred to the next booking slot. However, if you need to reschedule more than once, an additional $50 booking fee will be required, and this fee is non-deductible from the final cost of your tattoo.

Any cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of your appointment will incur a $20 late notice fee. Please note that this fee is non-refundable and does not contribute towards the total cost of your tattoo.
